After Shadow has all but destroyed the world, Shadow himself has nearly perished in the ruins. Mecha finds him at last, but it looks like he's already too late.

I've always wanted to know how to do the grungy, angsty look. I did this in Corel Painter. Most of the coloring was laid in with watercolor, and underneath is a layer of oils. Mixed media!

Version 2: added more blue to the background to make the foreground more distinct. Cleaned up some of the extra lines, and added a nice little frame.
