Heart of a Chao Art collage

I was looking through an old sketchbook, and showing them to my kids. "I colored this one and this one ..." Then I discovered that the colored versions weren't online anymore. In fact, they only existed on an external hard drive I had shoved into storage. In a panic, I dug them out. All the art is so tiny! It really only works as a collage now.

Anyway, this was the artwork I did for my fanfic Heart of a Chao, which is sort of like Sonic + World War II + Digimon. (Fanfic here: www.fanfiction.net/s/115853/1/… ). It's massive and epic and the villain is that robot raptor. The Sonic characters have chao who evolve into massive versions a la Perfect Chaos, and it's such fun. :-D

Most of this artwork made around 2001ish in ... I think Photoshop? Paint Shop Pro? Colored pencils?
