That was INCREDIBLE. Took him five months, I don't doubt it. I think it shows that self-possessed, strong and independent women are sexy! And that our culture confuses obsessive, stalking, addictive behavior as romantic.

I too have read all four books. The first one didn't bother me so much--it had a semi-original plot, even if it was poorly written. And some of the characters could at least be related to, which helped with the fact that I found Meyer's style to be repetitive and dull.

But the remaining three books were pretty much straight-up copies of other original works. Book 2 is clearly Romeo and Juliet. With vampires. Book 3 is clearly Wuthering Heights (which I hated to begin with). With vampires. And book 4 is some demented, even-more-warped version of Rosemary's Baby. With Vampires!

I realize it's a fad but I just don't see the fangirlish appeal to it...so it's nice to see it mocked. (And Edward really DOES come off as creepy in it Xx)
