Pretty stupid. I know some people just do stuff like that to piss others off and be a total @$$hole.

there might have been some type of argument going on the site if you have some type of forum. So some hot-shot might of did it just for kicks or just to piss some guy off. Something similar to what I said happened on another site called shadowshq.org. The site hasn't been up for months.

But it's a good thing you backed-up the files recently.

No forum arguments. I did just get some really bad viruses, and my tech support people said that someone could have gotten my password that way. There could be something to it.

That's most likely it.

But there still is that possibility that it's just some asshole looking for kicks. Just doing it for "shits and giggles" so to speak.

your site wasn't hacked. It was cracked open and violated. I doubt that was a hacking bot or anything of the sort but a termination bot. That is if it was even a bot, or some jerk that felt like ruining a site made by a great artist and writer. Either way good work making a backup NR. I expected no less from ya. IM me sometime it's been too long since we spoke.

I'm just glad you had it backed-up for the update you had planned (at least I think it was an update). Hope it's up and running again soon. Until then, I will console myself by rereading your works at Fanfiction.net

I once heard an explation that makes sense. The guy who I heard it from said that the people who do those things are hurting for some reason or other and they just want other people to hurt as much as they do. So they go around destroying people's data.

At least it makes sense to me. Glad to hear you back up, though.
