Do you ever pick out theme songs for your characters or stories? I know I do. It helps give a bit more depth to a person, or an event.

One song that is fun to ponder is Road Song, by Fernando Ortega. He has some pretty imagery of a couple of different people, and I just love fitting various characters into those descriptions. I recall I had various chao characters fit into it, at one point. Character bits in italics:

Every far and lonely highway,
Through basin and range
And a desert that never ends-
A sky so wide
You can feel your heart turn quiet,
And then I listen
For the voices of my friends

One rides in the summer wind beside me,
