I was thinking about it, and Robo Knux is a lot like the Joker. You never know exactly what he'll do next.
Here Mecha is getting repairs, and Robo Knux has just found out about it. Glee! Mecha is down for the count! Double glee! He can't defend himself! Only Shadow/Mekion stands between Mecha and a slow, agonizing death at RK's hands, for RK would probably unplug each hose and watch its results for hours at time. Or something.
Concept art for a fic. This picture may or may not appear in a story someday.
Your very good at creating a scene effectivly with only hints at a background... Which means you don't have to create much of a background and yet the viewer can see exacly what should be there and how it is uneeded.
Nice scence of perspective too, i like your work. Great job.
Nice work NR! Love how Shadow/Mekion's quills are messed up like that, like him and RK were fighting for a moment before the pic was drawn

NetRaptor, I'm going to say this. Your poses are always inspiring. Your Perspective is flawless, and this picture here is a prime example. And your coloring has only gotten better with time.
Now, if you'll allow me a negative comment. Your Proportion is atrocious. It doesn't show easy, but it's there. RK's arm looks like it's coming from the top of his shoulder guard, instead of his body, the repair tube looks something like heated plastic, and the base has a large dent in it... although on second thought, that actually works for this pictu're benefit.
Now, I'm not saying that I can do better. No-sir-ree. I can't draw a straight line to save my life. But I felt that it needed to be said. Metal is my favorite part of the picture though, he LOOKs tired and defeated for once. I don't see anything wrong with Shadow/Mekion. It was RK's arm and the tube that were bothering me the most.
I'm sorry if I have offended you in any way. But I've been seeing this trend in your art for so long, I just... had to get it out. Sorry again.
I STILL like this picture though. *faves and ends rant*
Yeah, I've always had trouble with RK's arms--I always draw them too long, and then when I try to pose him, there's certain problems that too-long-of-arms have. I suppose I should draw him more--I haven't done him in about six months. Thanks for the pointers, I'll try harder next time.
