If you know who Mekion is, you'll understand what's happening. If you don't know who Mekion is, the following is a brief explanation.

In my fanfics, Shadow is half robot. The robot half of him is called Mekion (a contraction of Mecha-Fusion), and Mekion is a fan of all things evil. When Black Doom appears with a request and a bargain, Mekion leaps at it, while Shadow doesn't trust Black Doom and doesn't want anything to do with him. But, as Mekion and Shadow share the same body, this presents a problem.

So this is a nice poster illustrating Black Doom, his Eye, and the extreme conflict between Shadow and Mekion, as he both obeys and disobeys Doom in the same breath, even the same thought.
