This is more fanart for the Temeraire books. Temeraire (the black one) is being revolted by Iskierka, who is telling him that she wants an egg from him. I'm trying to make her look snakey and spiky, while I wanted Temeraire to have a Chinese dragon look going on around his head. You know, beard and all that.

Iskierka intrigues me. The spikes on her back shoot out steam when she's excited, and she's a firebreather (no duh). I hope the next few books tell us a little more about how she works.

Beautiful work :) I've actually never heard of that book series before, but by your interpretation, it appears rather interesting. I love how you left the brush strokes visible, and the scales are nicely done as well :)

This came out nicely.

Now that it's coloured, Temeraire's left wing (on our right) forms a side of the 'composition triangle' -- Now that I look at it, that was present in the original sketch, just not as heavily emphasised.

Iskierka is rather interesting -- I have a mental image of her flying around sounding like a steam train.

*gasp* finally, the finished version! XD I am extremely happy to see this! Well, first of all...it's dragons! ^^ (duh.) and second it's totally made of epic win. :w00t:

The colouring is extremely well done. And I _love_ how you made them look like they actually have scales. Kudos to that. ^^

The background is simply stunningly beautiful. The soft purpleish blueish clouds are a noice touch, as well. They seem to give off a sense of tranquility.
