Awesomeness, NR! I like the way the snow around his shoes looks sort of squarish and crisp, not always soft. Great job!! And the shooting star is a nice effect.

The background is excellent I'm in LOVE with those trees! You drew them so realistically. My house is surrounded by them, so I know. An expert you might say
Seriously though, it's the type of tree which people LOVE to draw in a very representational shape. So yay for you, managing to break out of the stereotype. XD

Now that I mention it, you've done rather the same thing with the snow! People like to draw it soft like it was great lumps of cotton balls or something, but it's really a little more like sand in certain conditions, and it crunches under your feet. You drew that very well! I love the "crusty" ice effect
