Artist's Comments

One of my dinosaur sculptures. Created with super sculpy, it's about 9" x 6" x 5". This was the last thing I was daft enough to paint with oils, hence his neon-green coloring.

Down in the base, you can see the artificial water I used to make his pond. There are also some fish in it, but I had a hard time making the camera pick them up. The water is actually a clear resin I picked up at a craft store. Once you pour it in and add the catalyst, it hardens into clear plastic that still looks like water. The hardest part is making sure your base won't leak while the resin is hardening. :-)

Woah...that's really cool! Love the details (how DO you get such tiny accurate details in there?) and the oils came out nicely. And a veeery interesting composition too, I love how he's all twisty and awesome from every angle. Nice! ^^

O_O wow...I really love how this came out. The detailed stripes and the neon green coloring make the raptor really pop out at you. And it really amazes me how you did the resin, I've looked at sculptures that had had a type of water setting and wondered what they had used. Thank you for enlightening me NR ^_^. Too bad the camera couldn't have picked up the fish in the resin better, that would have been cool to be able to see as well. Being as how I like fishing myself. XD

That's the longest velociraptor tail I've ever seen though! :D
