Our power went out for a while, and I was forced to find non-electronic ways of amusing myself. So I picked up my neglected sketchpad and began drawing. This came out.
When the power came back, I transferred it to the compy and colored it. Nambroth's skill with the oil pastels in Painter fascinates me, so I painted this all with them, just to see if I could. By the end, I discovered that they're very sensitive to stylus pressure. It actually makes painting delicate things like feathers easier. So here is a nesting griffin. She actually has a whole clutch of eggs, which she's currently sitting on.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
