Artist's Comments

There is this little pic of official art, supposedly from Sonic Extreme (a game that got cancelled shortly before the Dreamcast came out). It's a pic of Mecha, and it's wonderful, but it's tiny. I wanted one that was wallpaper sized, so I re-drew it, re-colored it, and here it is. It doesn't look much like the original screenshot anymore, because I changed the light sources and the color of his fire.

Edit: Touched up. Added some sweet grid and fadey line effects. I should do this more often, it's such fun. :-)
