The trouble with Sonic is that he's just not real romantic. I imagine if he proposed to Sally (or any of the canon girls, for that matter), it wouldn't be the most pleasent experience in the world. In this case, it'd be downright embarrassing. Imagine the next frame ... all of them STARING, and Amy breaking into hysterical tears. XD
Edit: I lightened the lines in the background because it looked weird to have the characters so light and their lines so dark. Looks a bit better now.

On the other hand, given that this is Sonic and the settings he might choose, one would have a difficult time telling if he's making a joke or not. And I personally would not put it past him.
*starts trying to identify characters* Lessee...Sonic, Sally, Tails, Talon Amy, Bunnie, Zephyer, Spark...and Sonic's sister who I can't remember the name of.

You'll have to forgive me, it's just that I remember Sailor Moon as being about inflicting severe beatdown on extradimensional lunatics.
The last fan of the Sailor Moon dub. Fear me.
I love the dark colouring in this piece, and all the textures you've put into the hut's interior. And you're getting a lot better at drawing Sally. Her expression is priceless. Even the broken glass and spilt water looks realistic. Sonic really caught her off-guard.
It'll be cool to see the scene after this, just 'cause I'm feeling evil right now.
