I noticed that my Super Sonic pics tend to be the most popular ones I do, for whatever reason. I took a small survey among my friends about what to draw Super Sonic doing, and everybody wanted me to do the Fleetway Super Sonic.
Upon running this through my mind for a while, I began to ponder what the Fleetway Super Sonic would be like if he was set loose in my fic universe. I slapped a mysterious necklace on my Sonic to give him an excuse to lose his marbles, pitted him against Mecha and let Shadow watch. Shadow wasn't very happy about it, and had a lengthy argument with Mekion before charging up a Chaos Blast. Hense the title of the pic: "He's hurting my MASTER!"
Done in Corel Painter 9 with the artist's oils brushes. Due to my inexperience with the program, I couldn't do the kind of sparkly special effects that I had in mind, but oh well.
Hoomygawd, this is... amazing. @____@ I LOVE the way you drew the sparks swirling around Metal.. hell, Metal in general. And you draw the Fleetway Super Sonic really well, and the background is just a total wow... wow... wowwything. xD I'm thoroughly impressed with this piece... then again, am I ever disappointed with your works? Of course not! This is just so freaking awesome.. would you mind if I printed it and put it on my wall? =o
POW! I love the poses, action and movement~ there's a lot of force behind that punch! I wish I could be this good at 'battle poses..." XD
This whole thing is too cool ___ !! All of the details are so careful. In particular, great job on the contrasting of the perspective of the foreground building and the perspective of the BG buildings on the horizon..... it's very dynamic and really quite awesome!
There's also that really nice painterly touch in the colouring; it's not often seen as a style in the Sonic community, but I like it a lot!! The stylised horizon in particular gives it kind of a classic comic book feel(yeah,I'm in love w the BG, if you can't tell ). Really cool.
Wow...you never cease to amaze me NR, I think this is one of your greatest pics to date, the attention to detail is amazing, especially Mecha's clawmarks up the building! Mekion/Shadow sure doesn't look too pleased!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Merry Christmas to you out there but don't forget: we are only guests here and so...listen to my favourite words... and look at all these wonderful pieces of art

Tell me if you add me so I can add you back.
I always liked him because he's the unbeatable villain.
I love Mecha in this, too. I love the effect of the scrapes in the wall.
I also really love the fire in Shadow's hands. They give off an impressive glow.
It really doesn't look like you're new to this program at all. I can't wait to see what'll happen once you get enough practice.
